I lived in the neighborhood and know all about restaurant on Monkland. Although no one can beat La Taverne for burgers or Lucille for fish and seafood, Le Maistre is amongst the finest French restaurant in Montreal. They have a superb promotion of week-end 2 for 1 after 2100.
